Reimaging the visual identity of Lille, my city, with the goal of elevating its unique character amid neighboring metropolises like Brussels and Paris. Motivated by a deep personal connection, I aimed to capture the diverse spirit of Lille and its residents, who each hold a unique love and relationship with the city. The existing visual identity felt disconnected from the vibrant, multifaceted nature of Lille, so I sought to craft a brand that resonates with everyone who calls it home. This rebrand celebrates Lille as a major city in its own right—one that is bold, inclusive, and representative of its rich culture and diverse community.
